Tasting Notes SILVER

Scents of juicy cassis mingle with fresh bay leaf. Vivid blackberry flavor is wrapped in a dusting of cinnamon and forest truffles. The wine is well balanced and gains added texture from an intriguing hint of meatiness. 95% Zinfandel and 5% Petite Sirah. The vines were planted decades ago by the Bacigalupi family on an east-facing hillside off Westside Road in the Russian River Valley.
This 3-acre vineyard receives abundant sunshine to promote even ripening and rich flavor development. Unfiltered and unfined to retain the body and soil characteristics of this Zinfandel.
