From a hillside block overlooking the beautiful Russian River Valley, this Bacigalupi Vineyard Old Vine Zinfandel shows a deep ruby color with bold aromas of cherry, plum, and dried fruit. On the palate, the wine displays a nice spiciness with oak, cumin and cloves. The finish is long and balanced with more vanilla and dark fruit. Aged in 50% new oak, half French and half American.
