Rossato di LoIodice
Tasting Notes
Composed by a three part equal blend of Pinot Noir, Sagrantino, and Barbera it is a result of a technique known as saignée. This wine expresses a light cherry color; while the slightly oxidized aromas, are surrounded by strawberries and raspberry. Barrel aged in neutral Italian oak for 10 months, it has a large tannin structure that makes this wine very food friendly. From fish to pork, this big bold rosé is made versatile by its dry characteristics. Also pairs nicely with all types of pastas, fresh fruits, and cheeses. Drink it now; don’t wait!
