Late Harvest Zinfandel
Tasting Notes
Produced in a traditional port style, this late harvest Zinfandel has characteristics
of both a ruby and a tawny port. A blend of several vintages of two different
appellations of Zinfandel along with grape spirits that were aged in-house on
new French oak. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet, the wine presents big
berry, dried cassis and golden raisin flavors, melding into a Madeira or tawny
port-like lingering after taste. This wine has the potential to age gracefully for many
years to come.
